From Croatia to Phuket: Embracing the Flow of Life
Back in 2020, I embarked on a Master’s program in Bangkok, planning to return home once I finished my studies.
However, as my family and I settled in, we decided to celebrate my graduation and extend our stay with a month-long holiday in Phuket — one month turned into two, then three, four... there was no denying it: we had fallen irrevocably in love with the local way of living.
Now, four years later, Phuket has become our home. From the deep respect for tradition to the incredible sense of community and vibrant food culture, living in Thailand has taught us to savour the slower, more mindful moments and to live in harmony with nature.
It’s truly special; there’s a beautiful Thai saying that perfectly encapsulates our experience so far:
Nam Jai /nam-chay/ Water from the heart.
And given the honour of capturing your wedding, I sincerely hope to extend the same spirit of Nam Jai to you — an experience rooted in genuine warmth, kindness, and generosity.

Though I’ve always been creatively inclined, the birth of my daughter shifted my perspective profoundly, opening my eyes to new ways of seeing and appreciating beauty — in both photography and life itself. I love straying away from the conventional, exploring different art forms, and pursuing new interests to push my creative boundaries while adding balance and depth to my life, whether it’s interior design, graphic design, floral arrangements, or documenting personal moments with an analog camera. Travelling and immersing myself in different cultures also inspires me deeply.

Though motherhood has taught me to embrace magic within chaos, I’ve always been a perfectionist at heart. I used to fill notebooks, endlessly practising my handwriting until each line felt “just right.”

I love indulging in all cuisines! But my favourite Thai food is Papaya Salad, Massaman or Panang Curry, or some saucy noodles with a side of icy-cold, fresh coconut juice.

I’m a bit obsessed with birds, haha! I have a parrot, Pomelo, that I’ve raised since he was a baby. Though he most definitely has selective hearing, he’s quite the chatterbox; we’ve taught him to say a few words, like “come here”, “stop it”, “what”, “step up” — and sometimes he’ll even say my husband’s name, “Nino”.
